WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
We are seeking an experienced Scheduler Engineer to join our Unconventional Resources Engineering & Project Management Department (URE&PMD).
URE&PMD is responsible for the development and coordination of the capital program for Unconventional Resources within Saudi Aramco, in addition to providing engineering support and project management.
The scope of the capital program requires companywide planning in the form of the master scheduling system, planning and scheduling standards and procedures involving interfaces with all areas of our company, to verify and fulfil facilities requirements. The program covers current field development in three different parts of Saudi Arabia.
WHAT IS YOUR CHALLENGE?
Your primary role is to provide a complete planning service to the URE&PMD team, demonstrating expertise in managing large, complex projects with a global reach

REQUIREMENTS
You must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
You will have a minimum of 15 years working experience in a similar role in the Oil and Gas Industry.
Experience of FEED and EPC projects, including revamp projects, is essential.
You must be a proficient user of Primavera P6 and spreadsheets, with database capability.
You should have a proven track record in engineering and construction of refinery, oil and gas, petrochemical, or similar facilities.
You should be knowledgeable in system aspects of planning/risk software.
You will have prior experience in upstream oil and gas, midstream, LNG, refining, and petrochemicals industries.
DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES
As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:
Plan and provide work direction as required for the preparation of planning and scheduling control systems and other practices, to give engineering, procurement, and construction supervisors means to evaluate and improve the efficiency of their project execution.
Prepare pre-commissioning/commissioning schedule, sequence, and priority systems/sub-systems as per process requirements and construction status.
Prepare and update relevant project controls sections of the project execution plan, work breakdown structure, cost breakdown structure, progress measurement procedure, budget, contracts, claims, change orders, and reporting procedure.
Maintain budget tracking tools and forecast project completion cost and time, including earned-value analysis.
Review tender schedules and provide technical input in tender evaluation.
Review and approve contractor and vendor schedules and progress measurement methodologies, and monitor contractor and vendor schedule and progress performance.
Participate in meetings (i.e., program review meetings, progress meetings, coordination meetings, constructability review meetings, etc.) and manage all communications regarding project planning activities.
Provide efficient and accurate feedback for all processes to PMC Team.
Review and verify contractor’s engineering and procurement planning system, procedures and tools, making sure they align and ensure integrity with other tools and contractual requirements.
Follow up all program development exercises with EPC contractors, including program baseline development. Also verify the effectiveness of program mitigation plans.
Participate in developing overall progress reports and periodical reports (weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports).
Review and comment on contractor’s program (contractor's baseline, look ahead update, any revised schedule), contractor manpower forecasts, as well as contractor submitted reports.
Provide program impact analysis and variance analysis.
Provide critical path analysis and address critical issues of the project.
Follow-up the equipment/materials delivery, as well as engineering work packages issuance.
Evaluate the resource plan and progress measurement system established by EPC contractors, and participate in progress and monthly invoice evaluation exercise.
Participate in the change management process and trends analysis. Also highlight potential problems with recommendations for remedial action, and ensure changes have been incorporated in the project plan/schedule.
Develop detailed engineering schedules in conjunction with lead discipline engineers.
Develop engineering progress measurement systems, and report progress and productivity.
Co-ordination of schedule interfaces between licensors' and subcontractors' activities.
Provide regular forecasting of the project schedule, including key milestones.
Lead regular schedule review meetings with the project team.

2. Interviews stage
2.1 LHR Americas preliminary phone/video interview: A member of the Talent Acquisition team from LHR Americas will first schedule a call with you to discuss the details of the position, your interests, and qualifications. Furthermore, your English level will be evaluated at this stage, ONLY native or advanced speakers will approve this evaluation.
If this preliminary phone/video interview is successful your resume will be submitted to our client.
If your preliminary phone/video interview is not successful our Talent Acquisition consultant will inform you.
2.2 Client phone/video interview: This interview will happen only if your resume is approved by our client, we cannot guarantee the time our Client will take to approve your resume, but it should take less than a week.

The client interview contains technical questions that help assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field and may include a behavioral evaluation. Be prepared to explain how you approach problems and produce solutions.

3. Conditional Offer
